- Where to look
- Potatoes, and eggplant when the potatoes run out.
- How to know it
- A round beetle with ten black stripes on a cream back; orange egg clusters and fat pink humpbacked larvae underneath the leaves.
- What it does — and what to do
- Squash the orange eggs on the leaf underside twice a week and you will rarely need to do anything else. Famously resistant to insecticides.
