- Carrot-family plants — dill, parsley, fennel, Queen Anne's lace — and wet gravel where males gather.
- How to know it
- Large, with tails on the hindwings; black-and-yellow tiger stripes, or black with blue and orange spots.
- What it does for you
- If you find fat green caterpillars with black bands on your dill, leave them. Plant enough dill for both of you.
